Overview
Graduates with PhD in literature come out with the qualitative and quantitative skills necessary for professional research and teaching in English.
Structure
The programme comprises research and thesis and takes a minimum of 18 months and a maximum of four years of full-time study or five years of part-time study after the candidate registers for the programme.
Admission Requirements
The minimum qualifications a candidate needs are a Masters degree in Literature or a relevant field of the University of Nairobi or equivalent qualifications from institutions the University of Nairobi Senate recognizes.
