Professor Wangui wa Goro, in collaboration with the Department of Literature and the Literature Students' Association, initiated the LSA Creativity Project Prize whose main aim was to encourage writing and publishing in African languages.
Students of Literature from both the Faculty of Arts and the School of Education participated in the competition and the winning students were awarded in an online event that was attended by Professor Wangui wa Goro, Professor Abdilatiff Abdala, and the Executive Secretary of ACALAN - The African Academy of Languages.
