The University of Mayotte is making significant progress in its international outreach with the University of Kenya.

On the sidelines of the “@Africa Forward Summit,” the University of Mayotte and the University of Nairobi signed a first agreement with a university in Africa, in the presence of Éléonore Caroit, Delegate Minister responsible for Francophonie, International Partnerships, and French Citizens Abroad, along with many notable figures from Mayotte.

This agreement opens the way to new academic and scientific exchanges, particularly in the areas of:

student mobility,

collaborative research,

and the joint development of innovative programs between the two institutions.

The overseas territories are becoming key stakeholders in a promising new dynamic in France–Africa relations.
