Conference on the Value-Creating Education and Critical Thinking in a Global Word

The literature department successfully held it's conference on 23 -25 October, 2019 on the Value-Creating Education and Critical Thinking in a Global Word , the focus was on the literature, Literature is broader than written works with superior or lasting artistic merit. It has a deductive role to play in society.

DONATION OF WORKSTATIONS BY MULTAN PRODUCTIONS

On February 18th, 2025, Multan Productions, led by Executive Producer Reuben Odanga, donated two workstations valued at over KSh 800,000 to the Department of Literature. The workstations will be installed in Room ED101 and will be used by students enrolled in Film Studies for film editing purposes.

Present at the donation ceremony were Dr. Simon Peter Otieno, Coordinator of Performing Arts, Mr. Julius Kanyari, and students from the department.
