On Monday, 12 May 2026, the President of University of Mayotte paid a courtesy visit to the Department of Literature during the ongoing Master Class in Documentary Storytelling.

The visit highlighted the growing academic collaboration and shared commitment to advancing creative storytelling, research, and cultural exchange through documentary practice. Participants in the master class had the opportunity to engage with the President and discuss the importance of documentary storytelling in preserving narratives and shaping public discourse.

On Friday 8th May 2026, the Department of Literature welcomed a distinguished team from Mayotte University for an intensive Masterclass in Documentary Production. This collaborative initiative brought together students, and aspiring filmmakers to explore the art and craft of documentary storytelling.
