STUDENT CONFERENCE: THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN PROMOTING PEACE AND HUMANITY

On March 14, the Literature Department at the University of Nairobi hosted a student conference titled: The Role of Youth in Promoting Peace and Humanity. The event gathered students, scholars, and peace advocates to delve into the significance of community-driven values in fostering harmony. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Sungano Chigogora, a Senior Teaching Fellow in Epidemiology at Imperial College London's School of Public Health. Dr. Chigogora's work emphasizes the interconnectedness of all individuals and encourages the recognition of our shared humanity.

Today 12 March 2025, the Department of Literature,University of Nairobi hosted a thought-provoking conference at Chiromo Campus under the theme "Can Ubuntu Be Incorporated in Higher Learning."
