UON FRENCH STUDENTS CELEBRATE THE WORLD FRANCOPHONE DAY AT THE UN GIGIRI

Today, French students from the University of Nairobi joined other students from various institutions, teachers, and diplomats from the Francophone world at the UN office in Gigiri, Nairobi, to mark the International Day of the Francophonie. The theme of the event was "Je m'éduque donc j'agis" (I educate myself, therefore I act).

STUDENT CONFERENCE: THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN PROMOTING PEACE AND HUMANITY

On March 14, the Literature Department at the University of Nairobi hosted a student conference titled: The Role of Youth in Promoting Peace and Humanity. The event gathered students, scholars, and peace advocates to delve into the significance of community-driven values in fostering harmony. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Sungano Chigogora, a Senior Teaching Fellow in Epidemiology at Imperial College London's School of Public Health. Dr. Chigogora's work emphasizes the interconnectedness of all individuals and encourages the recognition of our shared humanity.
